In this article, we will walk you through how to integrate your Offsyte schedule with your Google Calendar. This is a free service and completely optional.
Why sync?
If you use Google Calendar to manage your bookings, you may want to enable 2-way syncing to avoid being double booked. Here's what that entails:
- Import: If you block off time on your calendar (e.g. an afternoon off, other commitments, etc), your Offsyte Schedule will be automatically updated within minutes and customers will not be able to book your events for those time slots.
- Export: Offsyte bookings will be automatically added to your calendar - including details and links in the event description.
Configuration
Note: the following steps require you to be an approved vendor on Offsyte. Get started by visiting www.offsyte.co.
-
Visit Vendor Dashboard > Schedules and select the schedule you want to sync to Google Calendar.
-
Verify your general availability is correct.
-
Select Sync Settings > Connect With Google Calendar.
-
You should see a 'Sign in with Google' popup, select a Google account you'd like to connect to.
-
Make sure to select everything (see the Note section below) & click "Allow".
-
You will be redirected to your vendor dashboard. Select the Google Calendar that you want to sync with Offsyte.
-
That's it! You should see a success message along with syncing stats in your vendor dashboard.
Please Note
We currently only support Google Calendar 2-way syncing which means if you unselect any of the options in Step #5, we will be unable to sync your calendar. 1-way syncing (either import or export) is on our roadmap.
